Costco is considering selling the abortion drug, mifepristone, after the FDA removed the in-person dispensing requirement and now allows pharmacies to dispense the drug to anyone with a prescription, whether in person or by mail order. The FDA has sought to expand access to mifepristone after several states implemented abortion bans following the fall of Roe v Wade.
Join us in asking Costco to make the right choice to protect women and unborn children and NOT begin selling mifepristone. Costco is not legally required to dispense this drug and would only do so because of the extreme pressure from politicians and radical abortion activists. As Costco members, investors, and citizens, Costco executives need to hear from us!
Nearly 6,000 members, plus 2,000 additional investors and concerned citizens, have now signed our petition calling on the company to not sell the abortion drug mifepristone. What started out as a simple petition has now gathered significant momentum. Inspire Investing took the lead to mobilize asset managers, investors, and others in the financial industry to send letters to company leadership at Costco, Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, and McKesson after NYC comptroller, Brad Lander, pressed the companies in July to dispense the abortion drug. Our initiative has generated significant press coverage which you can read about here and at the links below. We sincerely THANK YOU for all of your support as we would not have been able to do this important work without you!
Together our voices cannot be ignored and can turn the tide. Please join us in this effort to keep abortion drugs out of these retailers.
Thank you for standing with us to protect women and unborn children!
